Rebels Finish In Seventh At Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate

AUBURN, Ala. - Ole Miss got solid finishes in the third and final round of competition to take a seventh place finish at the Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate over the weekend with a team score of 294-299-291--884.
The Rebels had two golfers finish in the top 20 of the overall field, with one golfer finishing just outside at the No. 23 spot.
Senior Tommy Clement led the Rebels with a strong final round to push him to a tie for 13th overall with a three day score of 73-77-69--219. Freshman Jarrod Gardner helped push the team to the finish with a 74-74-73--221 that earned him a tie for 18th overall.
Jordan Dempsey finished tied for the 23rd spot overall as he carded a 73-74-75--22 for the weekend. Andrew Medley fired a 76-75-74--225 to tie for 37th. Ben Lowery rounded out the scoring for the Rebels with his three day total of 74-76-84--234 to tie for 55th.
The Rebels will return to action April 19-21 at the SEC Championships in Sea Island, Ga.
