OXFORD, Miss. - The fifth-ranked Ole Miss men's tennis team will begin its final regular season homestand with 34th-ranked South Florida Wednesday at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center. The match begins at 2 p.m.

The Rebels come into the match with a 15-4 overall record. They are coming off a successful road trip last weekend that included a 5-2 win over 18th-ranked Arkansas and a 4-3 win over LSU. Ole Miss has won three in a row and nine of its last 10 matches. This will be the final non-conference match of the season for the Rebels, who are 7-1 at home.

South Florida enters the match with a 13-3 record. They are coming off a 4-3 win at Miami last Saturday. The Bulls are led by senior Dan McCain and sophomore Paco Antelo. USF has played three other SEC schools and is 1-2 against the league, with their only win coming against 17th-ranked Auburn.

The Rebels defeated South Florida 6-1 last year in Oxford. After winning the doubles point, Ole Miss took five of the six singles matches for the victory.

Following Wednesday's match, the Rebels will get ready to welcome arch-rival Mississippi State on Saturday at Noon.
