The Ole Miss volleyball team will step out of conference play Tuesday to host Conference USA member UAB at 7 p.m. at the Gillom Sports Center.

The Lady Rebels (3-16, 2-4) are coming off a weekend split in which they defeated LSU 3-2 and then lost to Arkansas 3-0. Junior outside hitter Elena Garcia recorded her 12th double-double of the season in Friday's win, with 18 kills and 13 digs. She went over 200 in both categories for the season, marking the third year in a row for her notch 200 kills and digs. Garcia ranks second in the conference in digs per game (3.35) and eighth in kills with 3.60 per game.

UAB comes into the match with a 9-11 overall record. They are coming off back-to-back losses against Tulane (3-0) and Southern Mississippi (3-2). The Blazers are led by senior outside hitter Martina Shields with 245 kills (3.55 per game). She also leads the team in digs with 197 (2.86 per game). Freshman setter Jenna Link comes into the match with 584 assists. As a team, the Blazers average 13.55 kills per game and 14.18 digs per game.

Ole Miss leads the all-time series 17-3. They won the last meeting, a 3-1 win in Oxford during the 1992 season.
