Ole Miss Set To Face Nebraska In Thanksgiving Classic Friday

Ole Miss (2-1) will be searching for their third win of the season and their second-straight win as they tip-off against Nebraska (2-0) at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 28, in the first round of the Memphis Thanksgiving Classic. The tournament will open play at 6 p.m. with host Memphis taking on Eastern Kentucky.
Junior Armintie Price leads the Lady Rebels in scoring after three games with 14.3 points per game. Price also leads UM in rebounding with eight boards per game. Junior Carletta Brown and senior Genice Terry are also averaging double-figure scoring with 13.7 and 13.3 points per game, respectively. Brown adds four assists per game, while Terry has collected 10 steals in just three games. Nebraska enters Friday's contest with a 2- 0 record after defeating Wofford, 104-46, and Princeton, 75-61. The Cornhuskers have six players averaging double figures after two games, with senior center Katie Morse leading the way with 12.5 points per game. Morse also leads the team with 10.5 caroms per contest. Nebraska is 10-20 under second year head coach Connie Yori. Yori has posted a 205-160 overall record in 13 seasons in the business. This is the fourth consecutive season the Cornhuskers have opened the season with a 2-0 record.
