2003 REBEL/EASTON INVITATIONAL

2/13/2003 | Softball

Ole Miss | Indiana State | Jacksonville State | Mississippi State |
Nicholls State | Samford | UT-Martin

After hosting numerous tournaments over the years, Ole Miss expanded the Rebel/Easton Invitational this season into the largest event the program has sponsored. The field has grown to seven, representing five different athletic conferences.

Heavy rain in the Oxford area has forced changes from the original schedule. Due to the wet conditions, no games will be played at Airport Field, and all but one game on Saturday's slate at Ole Miss Softball Complex was cancelled.

Led by tournament MVP Andrea Brahs, Ole Miss captured first place in last year's Invitational, while Evansville was the 2001 champion.
