Rain Delays Ole Miss, Texas-Arlington Start Time

HOUSTON - Heavy rains in the Houston-area has delayed the start of Friday's baseball game between No. 25 (Baseball America) Ole Miss (2-1) and Texas-Arlington (4-6) scheduled for 1 p.m., at Reckling Park on the Rice University campus, to 4 p.m.

The Rebels and Mavericks are scheduled to open the three-day, four-team Crowne Plaza/Rice Invitational. Ole Miss is scheduled to play No. 2 (Baseball America) Rice Saturday at noon and No. 23 (Baseball America) Stetson Sunday at noon.
