Ole Miss Football Collectible Items To Go On Sale Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss football will once again offer items for sale here Saturday, March 29 prior to the annual Red-Blue game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
"We will have a number of collectible items for sale from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the field house parking lot," said John Ross, head equipment manager. "We're restricting the sale to those hours and will not be offering any items before or after the announced time. Also, there will be no exchanges after sales are made." According to Ross, only cash or checks will be accepted.
Items to be offered include 2002 jerseys ($50), 2000-2001 jerseys ($25), pre-2000 jerseys ($20), wind suits ($50), pullovers ($45), and non-signed autograph footballs ($15-$30).
"We also want to remind people who want to buy a 2002 game-used helmet to call Candee Meyer at 662-915-1596," Ross said. Helmets, which are signed by head coach David Cutcliffe and shipped the week after spring practice, cost $150 each. Credit cards are accepted for helmet orders.
