OXFORD, Miss. - Kickoff for the Ole Miss football season is a little under two months away, and season ticket sales for the 2003 campaign are on a similar pace as 2002, Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations Sans Russell announced Thursday.
Ole Miss sold over 45,000 season tickets in 2002.
"We are still working on season ticket orders, and our numbers are similar to those of last year," said Russell. "We are also selling individual tickets to the general public for all seven home games, including the Alabama and LSU games."
The Rebels host seven contests at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field this fall. Southeastern Conference foes visiting Oxford are Alabama on Oct. 18, Arkansas on Oct. 25, South Carolina on Nov. 1 and LSU on Nov. 22. The Rebels' non-league games are Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 13, Texas Tech on Sept. 27 and Arkansas State on Oct. 11.
To purchase tickets, contact the Ole Miss Ticket Office at 1-888-732-8587 or go online at www.olemissticketoffice.com.
Ole Miss opens its 2003 season at Vanderbilt Aug. 30.
