Halftime At Cotton Bowl: Ole Miss 17, Oklahoma State 14

Dallas - Ole Miss Senior quarterback Eli Manning came out firing in the first half of the 2004 Cotton Bowl, completing 13 of 18 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns. The first touchdown, a beautifully arched 16-yard ball to fellow senior running back Tremaine Turner, put Ole Miss up, 7-0.

With the score tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter, Eli led the Rebels on another scoring drive, this time connecting on a 25-yard strike to sophomore wideout Mike Espy.

Eli Manning completed 13 of 18 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the first half of the 2004 Cotton Bowl.


Ole Miss tacked on a field goal before the end of the half to make the score Ole Miss 17, Oklahoma State 14, which is where it stands at haltime of the 2004 SBC Cotton Bowl.
