Ole Miss-South Carolina Set For Pay-Per-View

JACKSON, Miss. - Officials at TeleSouth Communications announced Wednesday afternoon that it will offer Saturday's Ole Miss at South Carolina football game to the public as a Pay-Per-View televised event. The telecast is a joint production of TeleSouth, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Learfield Communications, and ComCast Sports.
Kickoff at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia is set for 12:00 p.m. (Central), with the telecast to begin at 11:55 a.m. (Central).
Cost of the telecast will be $29.95 in advance and $34.95 if ordered the day of the event. Individuals interested in purchasing the game should contact their local cable company or DirecTV. "It is recommended that you order via your remote control," said TeleSouth President Steve Davenport.
Commercial establishments with DirecTV need to contact the Commercial Division of the satellite company (DirecTV: 1-888-200-4388). Residential big dish customers must call 1-800-887-8277 to order the game.
The game will be available in Mississippi and the Memphis area, but will not be available on ESPN GamePlan in Mississippi and the Memphis area.
Mike Morgan will handle play-by-play, with George Rogers and Walker Jones serving as analysts.
