"I was so glad to see the guys smile in the locker room after the game. After last week it was just devastation. It was the toughest loss we've had. Tuesday was the turn-around for us when we really tugged on their hearts to have the seniors go out well. Today we had our best intensity with offense, defense and special teams. It was a big effort by everyone. I can't tell you how nice it was to send the seniors out the right way. This senior group has won a lot of games for us. They laid it on the line."
"Matt was on his "A" game. He made the best decisions, whether it was to keep, throw or run the ball. He had great execution. He felt so bad after what happened last week. Chris Baker was instrumental and made some good things happen for us."

"We can't take anything away from Arkansas; they were outstanding. It's tough to put a finger on why we played so poorly. We didn't respond, and that was one reason behind our not playing well. We lacked execution in every phase. During pre-game and warm-up, it felt like we were emotionally ready. You've got to be a road warrior when you're away. It felt like we went into shock a little bit. If I could put a finger on why we played poorly, I'd fix it. There have been things all year long to plague us. We lacked consistency on both sides of the ball."
On going for it on fourth down
"At third and less than a yard and fourth and less than a yard, we needed to stay on the field, and it was a risk we needed to take."

"It was rough today. They had a good game plan. We just didn't execute. We gave a lot of effort and didn't give up. Our D-line had a `go to you' plan. We just needed to execute more. We fought through the game. We needed to create more plays then we did."
