OXFORD, Miss. - A press conference to announce the hiring of a new head football coach at The University of Mississippi has been scheduled for Thursday morning, December 16, at 10:00 a.m., in the new Indoor Practice Facility.

Attending the press conference will be Ole Miss Chancellor Robert Khayat, Athletics Director Pete Boone, and the new head coach and his family.

Ole Miss has been seeking a new head football coach since David Cutcliffe was dismissed on December 1 after six years at the helm. The new coach will become the 35th head coach in the history of Ole Miss football.
