OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss junior wide receiver Mario Hill underwent surgery at Oxford Surgery Center on Wednesday to repair damage done in his left knee during the Mississippi State football game on Nov. 27. Hill, who had surgery to repair torn lateral meniscus, finished the game as the Rebels defeated the Bulldogs 20-3.
"Mario is doing great," said Tim Mullins, Ole Miss Head Athletic Trainer. "His surgery went very well and he has already began the rehabilitation process with two sessions today. We expect a complete recovery."
Hill, a Meridian, Miss., native, was the leading receiver for the Rebels in 2004. He caught 36 passes for 426 yards.
