Kuklinski Named To 2004 SEC Baseball Good Works Team

OXFORD, Miss. - Senior catcher Ryan Kuklinski has been named to the 2004 Southeastern Conference Baseball Good Works Team, the conference office announced Monday.

The Baseball Good Works Team features 11 athletes, one from almost every school in the conference, and recognizes their contributions in their respective communities.

Kuklinski, from Eagan,Minn., has contributed to Reading with the Rebels during his time at Ole Miss, and has also been involved in Toys for Tots and the Oxford Food Bank Canned Food Drive. He has also worked with Bats & Balls, teaching underprivileged children baseball skills, and makes regular visits to the Azalea Gardens Home.

The senior catcher is also Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Ole Miss has been named to the UMAA Honor Roll five times.

The Rebels are 39-17 on the season and ranked No. 12 in this week's Collegiate Baseball Top 30. Ole Miss finished 18-12 in the SEC to earn the No. 4 at this week's SEC Tournament, which starts Wednesday at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Ala. The Rebels will open the tournament against the No. 5 seed South Carolina Wednesday night at 5 p.m.
