OXFORD, Miss. - As the temperature rose at football practice on Thursday, Ole Miss head football coach David Cutcliffe was pleased with the team's effort as they continued preparations for their season-opener against Memphis. "I thought we did really good work today," Cutcliffe said. "It was one of our better practices of the preseason. It was a good way to build on Wednesday's scrimmage." After having a chance to view the tape from the team's second preseason scrimmage, Cutcliffe noted some of the positive things he saw. "Other than dropping the ball on the ground, it was the best we've looked in a scrimmage this year," Cutcliffe said. "To have back-to-back solid days of practice, is good. It's getting closer to game day and we are starting to see some real energy and enthusiasm out there." The team will wrap up week three of the preseason with another practice Friday at 3:45 p.m., before a Saturday morning workout at 10 a.m. Kick off for the Sept. 4 tussle with the Tigers is set for 6 p.m., in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field. All reserved seats are sold, but standing room only tickets are currently being sold by the Ole Miss Ticket office.
