OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss football team worked out for just under two hours on Saturday morning at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth field. In their last practice session prior to their first game-week slate of practices, the Rebels had a special teams walk-through.

"This was a traditional practice of sorts," said Ole Miss head coach David Cutcliffe. "It is something we do every year at this time in the practice schedule. We took the time today to focus on our special teams and make sure mentally we are where we need to be in that phase of the game."

Working in just shorts and jerseys, the different special teams went through a dress rehearsal for each possible game scenario in preparation for the season-opener against Memphis. The Rebels and Tigers will face-off on Saturday, Sept. 4, in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth field. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
