OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss football fans are buying 2004 season tickets on a record pace which changes almost daily, according to Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations Sans Russell. Russell announced Monday that Rebel fans have purchased almost 47,000 season tickets, which has shattered the 2002 mark of just over 45,000. Ole Miss sold just over 43,600 last year. "We continue to be extremely pleased with season ticket sales for the 2004 season," Russell said. "As of this week, there are less than 900 season tickets available for purchase. If this sales pace continues, just about the only way you will be able to attend an Ole Miss football game this fall will be as a season ticket holder." According to Russell, season tickets have sold out in the North and South end zones, and only a limited number of sideline season tickets are still available to purchase. In addition, all tickets for the LSU and Alabama road games are sold out. Tickets to all available games are now on sale over the counter at the athletics ticket office, located in the C. M. "Tad" Smith Coliseum. "We encourage anybody wishing to order a season ticket to immediately place their order," Russell said. "If you don't have an order form, you can call 1-888-732-8587 or go to our web site at www.olemissticketoffice.com and order your tickets."
