Lady Rebel Netters In Gold Strike Challenger Main Draw

TUNICA, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's tennis team will have two players in the main draw of the 2004 Gold Strike Challenger at the Tunica National Golf and Tennis Center, as Mimi Renaudin won two rounds in the qualifying tournament Monday, and joins teammate Chloe Carlotti, who earned a spot in the main draw by winning the Tunica Invitational Wildcard Tournament.
Renaudin, a redshirt freshman from Mandeville, La., won both her qualifying matches in straight sets. She dominated Tea Papaja of Bosnia-Herzegovina, 6-0, 6-1. In the final round of qualifying, Renaudin defeated Raluca Ciulei of Romania 6-0, 6-4. She will face Salome Devidize of Georgia in the first round.
Carlotti, a senior two-time All-American, will face Flavia Mignola of Argentina in the first round.
