OXFORD, Miss. -- Sophomore forward Armintie Price notched a double-double with a game-high 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead Ole Miss to its sixth straight win, with an 82-54 victory over Memphis in front of 2,116 at the Tad Smith Coliseum Monday evening.

Leading 38-28 at the break, the Lady Rebels (10-3) pulled away by using a 20-9 spurt in the first 10 minutes of the second half to build a 58-37 lead with 10:37 remaining. The Lady Tigers (7-6) would not be able to pull any closer than 19 points the remainder of the game.

Eleven different Ole Miss players would score on the evening. In addition to Price's 22 points, senior center Amber Watts also netted 10 points and grabbed seven boards.

"It was a great win," said Ole Miss head coach Carol Ross. "Anytime you can get a win over one of your Mid-South rivals is extremely fulfilling. It was great to get a lot of players involved like we did tonight.

"It took us a little while to get cranked up, but once we got rolling, things just seemed to fall into place and we got the breaks we needed."

Memphis was led by junior center Latrice Booker and senior forward Raven Rogers with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Lady Rebels shot 39.2 percent from the field, connecting on 29-of-74 shots, including 5-of-14 from behind the three-point arc.

Memphis shot 32.7 percent from the floor, making 18-of-55 shots. The Lady Tigers managed to hit just 6-of-25 from the field in the second half.

Ole Miss also held a 57-32 advantage on the boards, including grabbing 26 offensive rebounds that led to 27 second-chance points.

The Lady Rebels will open Southeastern Conference Thursday night when they travel to Georgia. Game time is set for 6 p.m., CST. Memphis will open its Conference USA schedule Friday evening when they Lady Tigers travel to East Carolina.
