The Rebels are 5-1 all-time in Oxford matchups dating back to 1997, with the lone blemish being the infamous seven overtime battle in 2001 won by the Razorbacks 58-56. Arkansas took last year's bout 35-3 in Fayetteville.

The Rebels rank 14th in the nation in scoring defense ... Junior LB Patrick Willis ranks second in the country in solo stops (8.86 per game) and leads the SEC in total tackles (12.9 per game).

OLE MISS HEAD COACH Ed Orgeron: Ed Orgeron (Northwestern State, 1984) is in his first season as the Rebels' head coach, having been hired on Dec. 16, 2004. Ole Miss is Orgeron's first career head coaching position, although he possesses 20 years of college coaching experience, most recently as an assistant head coach on USC's 2003 and 2004 national champion teams.

ARKANSAS HEAD COACH HOUSTON NUTT: Houston Nutt is in his eighth season as the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. He is 55-39 (.585 winning pct.) with the Razorbacks and has a career mark of 91-61 (.599 winning pct.) in 13 seasons a collegiate head coach.
