OLE MISS NOTES
- Today's crowd of 3,118 set a new Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field attendance record on opening day, breaking the mark of 2,740 set last year versus Birmingham-Southern.
- Junior LF Brian Pettway tied his career with four RBI, set previously in a 24-0 win over New York Tech on March 9, 2003.
- Sophomore 3B Chris Coghlan went 3x4 to tie his career high for hits. It is his fourth career three-hit game.
- Today's 10-0 win marked the Rebels' 24th straight season-opening win since losing to Livingston, 8-6, in Oxford back in 1981.
- Ole Miss has now won 24 consecutive season home openers since dropping the 8-6 decision to Lvingston in 1981.
