- Tonight's 8-7 win marked the Demons' sixth straight victory.
OLE MISS NOTES
- Senior 2B Cooper Osteen has scored a run in four consecutive games.
- Ole Miss turned one double play tonight and have now turned a double play in six straight games and in 7-of-8 games this season.
- Junior OF Brian Pettway went 1-for-4 tonight and has recorded a hit in all eight games this season.
- The Rebels recorded 12 hits tonight and have now recorded at least 10 hits in five straight games and in 6-of-8 games this season.
- The 4.0 innings of relief by sophomore RHP Michael Wakefield marked the longest outing of his carer and the longest relief appearance by a Rebel this season. Wakefield's previous career long performance was 3.0 innings last year against Eastern Illinois on March 6.
- Prior to this evening, the longest relief appearance by an Ole Miss pitcher this season was 3.1 innings by junior LHP Matt Maloney against Lamar on Feb. 18 in Houston.
- Tonight's loss dropped the Rebels to 0-3 in one-run games.
