Senior 2B Cooper Osteen has scored a run in four consecutive games.
Ole Miss turned one double play tonight and have now turned a double play in six straight games and in 7-of-8 games this season.
Junior OF Brian Pettway went 1-for-4 tonight and has recorded a hit in all eight games this season.
The Rebels recorded 12 hits tonight and have now recorded at least 10 hits in five straight games and in 6-of-8 games this season.
The 4.0 innings of relief by sophomore RHP Michael Wakefield marked the longest outing of his carer and the longest relief appearance by a Rebel this season. Wakefield's previous career long performance was 3.0 innings last year against Eastern Illinois on March 6.
Prior to this evening, the longest relief appearance by an Ole Miss pitcher this season was 3.1 innings by junior LHP Matt Maloney against Lamar on Feb. 18 in Houston.
Tonight's loss dropped the Rebels to 0-3 in one-run games.
