OXFORD, Miss. - The 43rd-ranked Ole Miss women's tennis team concludes a four-match road trip this weekend with matches at South Carolina and Florida. The Lady Rebels will meet the Gamecocks Friday at 2 p.m. ET at the Maxcy Gregg Tennis Center.

Ole Miss went 2-0 last weekend, defeating LSU 5-2 in Baton Rouge and Arkansas 7-0 in Fayetteville, to even its conference record to 4-4 and improve to 11-6 overall.

"We played well last weekend," head coach Mark Beyers said. "It's tough to win on the road in this league, and we were able to kick off the road trip with success. Hopefully we can continue that this weekend with two matches against very good teams."

Senior Chloe Carlotti, ranked No. 43 in the nation, picked up her 20th win of the season with two wins last weekend in singles. She also won both her doubles matches and needs just one win to get her 20th there. She needs five singles wins to record her 100th career victory.

The Lady Rebel freshmen are getting it done in the lineup. Preethi Subramanian is 11-2 in dual matches, 10-2 at No. 6 singles. Mimi Renaudin owns a 10-6 dual match record, 9-5 at No. 5 singles. Nika Koukhartchouk is 12-3 in dual matches, 5-2 at No. 4 singles, 5-1 at No. 3 singles and 2-0 at No. 2 singles. All three have combined for a 17-6 record in the SEC thus far.

South Carolina, ranked No. 25 nationally, comes into Friday's match with a 10-6 overall record, 4-4 in the SEC. They are coming off a 7-0 sweep of USC-Aiken Tuesday. In their last SEC action, the Gamecocks lost to Tennessee 5-2 and Georgia, 4-0. The Gamecocks are led by All-SEC player Danielle Wiggins, who went 8-2 in the SEC last year and is currently 4-6 at No. 1 singles this year. South Carolina boasts two players in the singles rankings with Christyn Lucas at No. 94 and Laura Ganzer at No. 110. Lucas owns a 7-3 record at No. 2 singles.

Ole Miss owns a 12-6 lead in the overall series with South Carolina, including last year's 4-3 win in the first round of the SEC Tournament. Prior to that meeting, the Gamecocks had won four straight in the series. Ole Miss' last regular season win came in 2000 in Oxford, a 6-0 victory. The last time the two teams faced off in Columbia, South Carolina won 4-3.

On Sunday, the Lady Rebels will travel to Gainesville, Fla., to face the No. 7 nationally-ranked Lady Gators at 1 p.m. ET.

Florida enters the weekend with a 12-2 overall record, 6-2 in the SEC. They are coming off a 5-2 win over Tennessee and a 4-3 victory against Georgia. The Lady Gators, who have won six straight, own a remarkable 122-1 SEC record at home. They are led by Jennifer Magley, who is ranked No. 6 in the nation with a 10-3 record at No. 1 singles. The Lady Gators' No. 2 player, Zerene Reyes, is ranked No. 12 with a 10-2 dual match record, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Florida's No. 1 doubles team of Magley and Reyes is ranked No. 12 with an 8-2 record at No. 1 doubles.
