OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Rebels continued their preseason work on Thursday, inside the Indoor Practice Facility, on the Ole Miss campus.
Work for the Rebels included positional drills, situational scrimmaging and first team unit scrimmaging.
"This was a Thursday practice during the regular season," said head coach Ed Orgeron. "Right now we are preparing for preseason game number four on Saturday."
Thursday also saw Keith Houston move from linebacker to the offensive side of the ball.
"We moved Keith to the wide receiver/tight end position," said Orgeron. "He did a good job catching the ball. Hopefully he can help us out."
The Rebels will hold their final preseason scrimmage on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
"The scrimmage will not be ones-versus-ones," Orgeron said. "We are going to simulate another team on Saturday. It will be a game situation. The coaches will be in the press box and we are going to work on our substitutions."
Ole Miss will open the 2005 season on Monday Sept. 5, versus Memphis. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN at 3:30 p.m.
