OXFORD, Miss. - Sunday's baseball game between Saint Louis (0-2) and No. 21 Ole Miss (2-0) has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the Oxford area.
The game, which was scheduled to be played at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, was the final game of a three-game series to open the season for both teams. Ole Miss and Saint Louis played a doubleheader on Friday in anticipation of the impending weather, with the Rebels taking both games from the Billikens by scores of 9-1 and 11-2.
Ole Miss will play a make up game to replace the missed game with the Billikens at a date to be announced in the future. The game will either be made up against the Billikens or another team to be determined later.
Season ticket holders may retain their ticket stub for Sunday's third game of the Saint Louis series and use it for entry into the future make up game.
Ole Miss will return to the field on Tuesday, when the Rebels host the Samford Bulldogs in a two-game series. Game time Tuesday is set for 3 p.m. at Oxford-University Stadium.
