OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's tennis team hits the road this weekend for a pair of SEC matches against top-30 teams. First up, the Lady Rebels will face 27th-ranked Tennessee Friday at 4 p.m. CT at the UT Varsity Courts.

The Lady Rebels split their matches last weekend, defeating LSU 5-0 and then falling to Arkansas in a hard-fought match, 4-3 on Sunday. Both matches had to be played indoors due to weather.

Freshman Kseniia Tokarieva continues to lead the Lady Rebels as she is off to a 27-5 start in dual matches in singles and doubles. She is 13-2 in singles and 12-3 in doubles with Nika Koukhartchouk.

Tennessee comes into the weekend at 9-9 overall and 5-3 in the SEC. They lost both their matches last weekend, falling to Vanderbilt, 7-0 and Kentucky, 6-1. The Lady Vols are led by senior Melissa Schaub, who owns a 5-13 dual match record.

Ole Miss will be looking to snap a six-match losing skid to the Lady Vols. The previous two meetings have been decided by a 4-3 score. The Lady Rebels defeated Tennessee 5-4 on April 7, 2000 in Oxford for their last series win.

Georgia enters the weekend at 9-8 overall and 5-3 in the SEC. They dropped both their matches last weekend, falling to Kentucky 4-3 and losing to Vanderbilt 5-2. The Bulldogs are led by junior Natalie Frazier, who is ranked No. 18 in the nation with a 12-4 record at No. 1 singles. Junior Shadisha Robinson is ranked No. 67 and Caroline Basu is ranked No. 85. Georgia's top doubles team of Robinson and Basu is ranked No. 8 with a 9-4 record at the top.

Ole Miss will seek to end a six-match losing streak to Georgia when the two teams meet on Sunday at Noon CT. The last time the Lady Rebels defeated the Bulldogs, was a 5-4 win in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament in 1999. The Lady Rebels' last regular season win came in 1996(6-3).
