INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Ole Miss sophomore John Yarbrough turned a time of 13.69 in the semifinals of the men's 110-meter hurdles at the USA Track and Field Championships.

Yarbrough placed seventh in his heat and did not advance.

"John ran a good race against some very strong competition," said Ole Miss head coach Joe Walker. "He started out strong, but missed a hurdle half way through and was not able to get his balance. Running against professionals like this will be great experience for him."

Former Ole Miss national champion hurdler Antwon Hicks placed eighth in the finals of the 110-meter hurdles. Hicks turned in a time of 13.71 in the finals.

Hicks placed third in his semifinal heat with a time of 13.55 at advance to the finals.
