Five Rebels Pick Up Mid-Season Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Five Ole Miss Rebels were recognized by Phil Steele in his mid-season college football awards, which were announced Friday.

Junior offensive lineman Michael Oher was named to the Mid-Season All-America fourth team as well as the All-SEC first team. Senior running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis and sophomore defensive lineman Greg Hardy made the All-SEC second team, while junior receiver Mike Wallace and junior linebacker Ashlee Palmer were honored on the All-SEC third team.

Phil Steele's College Football Preview is one of the nation's top preseason football magazines and has always provided a preseason All-American team as well as preseason All-Conference teams. This 2007 football season is the inaugural year for these mid-season honors.
