SERIES INFORMATION

This meeting was the 32nd all-time between the Rebels and Tigers dating back to 1928, and Auburn holds a 24-8 advantage in the series.

The Tigers boast an 11-2 advantage in games played in Auburn, with a narrow 3-2 edge the last five encounters on the Plains.

 

STARTER NOTES

Darryl Harris (Sr., RT) and Viciente DeLoach (Sr., DE) earned their first starts of the season ... It marked the 14th career start for Harris and fourth for DeLoach.

 

CAPTAINS

OFFENSIVE NOTES                   

The 193 yards of total offense was the fewest by the Rebels since posting 179 against Vanderbilt last year.

Senior RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 62 yards on 13 carries.

Senior QB Seth Adams completed 11-of-24 passes for 89 yards with no interceptions.

Junior WR Mike Wallace led the team with five catches for 39 yards.

Sophomore WR Dexter McCluster hauled in four passes for 35 yards.

Senior QB Brent Schaeffer saw second-half action for the third time this season and second straight game and finished 3-of-4 for 34 yards and an interception.

                                                                                                    

DEFENSIVE NOTES

For the second straight, junior LB Tony Fein led the team and established a career high in tackles, totaling 16, which was the most by a Rebel this year ... It marked Fein’s second straight double-digit tackle performance and third of his debut season in the Red and Blue.

Freshman DB Johnny Brown was credited with a career-best 11 tackles ... Brown is averaging 7.8 tackles per game over the last four.

After missing the last two games, junior DB Jamarca Sanford returned with his third double-figure tackle game of the year with 11.

In his first start of the year, senior DE Viciente DeLoach equaled his career high of six total tackles, including four solos and a TFL.

                                                                                                      

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES

Sophomore K Joshua Shene booted a 51-yard FG in the final seconds of the first half, which was one yard short of his career long.
