Ole Miss Announces Wednesday Press Conference to Introduce Houston Nutt

OXFORD, Miss. -- University of Mississippi Athletics Director Pete Boone confirmed Tuesday morning that he has reached an agreement with former University of Arkansas head football coach Houston Nutt to become the 36th head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels.

The Ole Miss position became available after three-year head coach Ed Orgeron was notified last Saturday that he would not be retained.

A formal press conference to officially announce the hiring of Coach Nutt is scheduled for Wednesday at noon CST at the Gertrude Castellow Ford Center for the Performing Arts on campus.

The press conference, which is open to the public, will be streamed free online at OleMissSports.com. Premium subscribers will log in as usual, while non-members must first register but without any payment information.
