Somers Gets Big Win In Lady Rebels' Loss To Arkansas

Somers, ranked No. 97 in the nation, topped 25th-ranked Ela Kaluder 6-3, 7-5 at No. 1 singles to improve to 11-6 on the year and 3-4 in the SEC.
Also on the winning side for the Lady Rebels, Preethi Subramanian won her first match of the season after missing most of it due to injury. She dominated Rachel Wilhelm 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
Carlin Cochran beat Melissa Hoffmeister, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0(2) on court six for the Lady Rebels third point.
Ole Miss returns home to close out the season with three matches. Friday, the Lady Rebels will kick off Red/Blue weekend with a 4 p.m., match against
