Cozart, Henry Named All-South Region By ABCA

The duo have been a big part of the Rebels success this season as the Rebels have posted a 37-23 record on the year and are hosting an NCAA Regional for the fourth-straight season. Ole Miss is one of only two schools in the nation to have played host to an NCAA Regional each of the last four seasons.
“Justin and Zack are very deserving of this honor and we are excited to see them recognized by other coaches around the region for their ability on the field,” said Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco. “Both players have done so much for this program, not only this season, but over the last few years. We are excited to see that acknowledged.”
Henry, who was named to the All-Tournament team following the Southeastern Conference Tournament last weekend, serves as team-captain for the Rebels for the second season. With his naming to the Tournament team, he became the first player to be named to the All-Tournament team three-straight seasons at three different positions.
The
Cozart has been a mainstay of the Rebel defense up the middle as the shortstop has been the leading fielder at his position in the Southeastern Conference for two years running. He has committed only eight errors through 60 games this season, and has committed only 16 errors through the last two seasons covering 126 games to date.
Cozart, who earned All-SEC first team honors this season from the league coaches, has moved into the top 10 of the career record book for RBI as he is sixth on the list with 151 for his career. He also posted a 16 game hit streak this season, tied for seventh longest in school history.
