CLINTON, Miss. Lindsey Perry, an Ole Miss softball signee and one of the top high school pitchers in the state of Mississippi, will headline a team of the state’s best in the Sixth Annual Mississippi Association of Coaches Fast-Pitch All-Star Game on Saturday, June 23.
A two-time All-State selection, Perry had an outstanding campaign for Madison Central High School in 2007. The 5-foot-10 right-hander compiled a 21-4 record and 329 strikeouts with an ERA of 1.10 in just over 163 innings. She also threw a pair of no-hitters.
Perry will play for the 4A/5A North squad against the South team at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be at Mack Fanning Field at Newton County High School on Highway 503 in Decatur. Tickets are $5 per person for general admission seating.
