Senior QB Seth Adams notched his second 300-yard passing performance of the season and career, finishing 18-of-31 for 302 yards with two TDs and one interception ...
Sophomore WR Shay Hodge led the team with career highs of seven receptions and 81 yards with his second TD of the season.
Junior WR Michael Hicks compiled a career-best 89 receiving yards ... His 51-yard grab equaled his career long from last year’s Arkansas game.
Junior WR Mike Wallace hauled in a career-long 77-yard pass for a TD, his team-high fourth of the year ... The reception was the longest by a Rebel since a 77-yard touchdown throw from Eli Manning to Chris Collins in the 2002 Mississippi State game ... It marked Wallace’s third catch of the year of 50 or more yards, and all three have resulted in TDs.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
The Rebel defense held the nation’s No. 2 scoring offense to 26 points below its season average.
In his first career start, sophomore LB Jamie Phillips topped the team in tackles for the first time with a career-high 11 tackles, including five solos.
Junior LB Tony Fein posted a career-best 10 stops with four solos.
Junior LB Ashlee Palmer was credited with nine tackles ... Palmer has notched eight or more tackles in every game.
Sophomore DB Cassius Vaughn finished with career highs of eight total tackles and five solos.
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
Sophomore K Joshua Shene tied his career high for field goals in a game, connecting on 3-of-4 from 40, 32 and 22 yards.
Sophomore WR Marshay Green totaled a career-high 159 kickoff return yards on six attempts.
Ole Miss has still yet to have a true punt return this season ... Of Florida’s four punts, two were downed, one was a fair catch and one was out-of-bounds.
