OXFORD, Miss. Fans will have their chance to meet the 2008 Ole Miss softball team at Sunday’s women’s basketball game against South Carolina.

The Rebel players and coaching staff will be signing autographs and handing out free posters and other promotional items beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the 2 p.m. tip-off. The team will also be announced during halftime and will throw free t-shirts and caps into the stands.

The Rebels are looking to build on the momentum of head coach Missy Dickerson’s first two seasons in Oxford. Ole Miss won a school-record 11 SEC games last season and have advanced to the SEC Tournament each of her two season for the first time in school history.

Sunday is also “Bring a Kid to the Game Day” at Tad Smith Coliseum, as all children are admitted free with a paid adult ticket. Free cotton candy will be given out for fans and kids will enjoy special games in the “Fun Zone”.
