Ole Miss Women's Tennis Falls To Tulsa 5-2

The Lady Rebels (1-1) will conclude the road trip against

The Hurricanes mounted a 3-0 lead in the match with straight-set wins at Nos. 3 and 4 singles, but Ole Miss answered with victories by Koukhartchouk and Nijssen at the top. Koukhartchouk downed Diaz-Barriga 6-2, 6-1 on court one and Nijssen topped Carla Zabaleta 6-3, 6-3 on court two.
That was it for the Lady Rebels, as the Hurricanes clinched the victory with a straight-set win at No. 6 singles and also won at No. 5 in a supertiebreaker.
“We need to learn capitalize on the opportunities we have, like in the doubles when we were up 3-0 in the breaker,” head coach Mark Beyers said. “There were a couple of matches where we didn’t’ keep it close and we have to do that. For us not to win anything at three, four five and six, can’t happen. We have to put this past us and move on to
