Peria Jerry Named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- After helping Ole Miss to a 23-21 victory at Arkansas Saturday, Ole Miss' Peria Jerry was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week today, as announced by the league office. A senior tackle from Batesville, Miss., Jerry was was credited with five total tackles, including career highs of two sacks and two quarterback pressures. The Rebel defense held Arkansas to 104 net rushing yards with 38 yards lost on tackles for losses. The SEC honor is the second of the season for Jerry, who was the Defensive Lineman of the Week against Vanderbilt.
