2:30 p.m.: Record-setting performance by the Rebels. Check the links for recap and photo gallery above.

2:09 p.m.: Brandon Bolden just put Ole Miss ahead 45-0 nothing after breaking through for a 24-yard touchdown run. Bolden ran over one MSU defender at about the 10 yard line and bounced off and raced in for the score.

2:02 p.m.: Fans have begun dropping cotton balls from the west sky boxes and the upper deck in anticipation of Ole Miss receiving a berth in the Cotton Bowl.

1:46 p.m.: Today's attendance is 55,231.

1:41 p.m.: Snead tosses his fourth touchdown pass of the game to Bradley Sowell, who is switched jerseys from 78 to 85 and hauled in his first career pass and touchdown. The Rebels went for it on fourth down and converted on a play action pass to Sowell.

1:05 p.m.: Ole Miss takes a 31-0 lead into halftime and holds was it believed to be the biggest halftime lead since a 42-0 lead at the break in 1971. It is also the second straight year Ole Miss has held MSU scoreless in the first half.

12:59: p.m.: Mike Wallace just posted his second straight two-touchdown game after scoring on a 72-yard pass from Snead. Snead is 10-for-13 for 189 yard and three touchdowns and one interception. Wallace has two grabs for 89 yards, both for scores.

12:42p.m.: Mississippi State wide receiver Brandon McRae is down on the field after sustaining what looked like a leg injury. McRae cut in the middle of his route and it looked to be a very painful injury.

12:36 p.m.: Ole Miss came inches from taking a 27-0 lead, but Shene's 49-yard field goal attempt hit off the left post. It is only Shene's third miss this season, and all three have been outside 40 yards.

12:31 p.m.: With just over eight minutes remaining in the first half, the Rebels have twice as many points (24) as the Bulldogs do total yards (12).

12:08: p.m.: Rebel QB Jevan Snead is now 9-for-9 to start the game after hitting Mike Wallace on a fade route to the corner of the endzone to put Ole Miss ahead 24-0. Wallace now has four touchdowns in his last three games.

12:05: p.m.: Ole Miss sophomore Jerrell Powe picks off his first career pass after Greg Hardy laid a hit on new MSU quarterback Wesley Carroll as he attempted a pass. Powe's play earned the biggest roar from the crowd thus far today.

12:01: p.m.: Rebel quarterback Jevan Snead finds Shay Hodge for his SEC leading eighth TD catch of the season. Hodge caught the ball on about the four yard line and made a cut move to dodge the MSU defenders and topped it off with a short head dive into a flip into the endzone. Snead was 4-for-4 on the drive with three passes going to Hodge, including a 30-yarder.

11:57 a.m.: Ashlee Palmer picks off MSU quarterback Tyson Lee to give the Rebels great field position. Palmer also had an interception in last year's Egg Bowl.

11:52 a.m.: Ole Miss takes a 10-0 lead as Joshua Shene hits a 43-yard field goal. Shene leads the SEC in field goal percentage at 88.9 percen

11:38 a.m.: The Rebels march down the field in a quick 2:22 drive highlighted by a 36-yard run by Dexter McCluster. McCluster broke outside and raced down the sideline and dove in for the first score of the game. It is the 11th time season Ole Miss has scored the first points of the game.

11:31 a.m.: In the first ever live Hotty Toddy, Shepard Smith leads the crowd in the pregame cheer to kickoff the 81st Egg Bowl. The rain has held off thus far, and the stadium in nearing capacity as the fans continue to file in.

11:27 a.m.: The Rebels honored the senior class in during the pregame ceremonies, and also honored Raycom Sports prior to their final SEC football telecast. The Rebels are back in their blue uniforms after wearing red for the first last week.
