Rebels To Offer Free Admission To UALR Game
12/9/2008 | Women's Basketball
Children 14 years of age or under will have the opportunity to gain free admission to the game by bringing colored pictures of either Santa Claus or Frosty the Snowman to the coliseum. To access those two pictures, click on the links above to print out your copy. Once those pictures are collected at the gates, those participants will automatically be entered to win prizes throughout the course of the game.
Santa Clause will also be on hand at the game and will be available to meet the children.
A second way to earn complimentary admission into the game will be participating in the “Toys for Tots” drive. Any fan who brings a new, unwrapped toy to the game will receive free admission. The Marines will be on-site and will collect toys and donations.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves “Toys for Tots” Program is to collect and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. That means everything collected at the coliseum will go to kids right here in
Excitement is high this season as Ole Miss head coach Renee Ladner has the Rebels off to a 7-1 start, which included seven consecutive wins to start the season. Preseason All-SEC first team selection Shawn Goff leads the Rebels with 14.0 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game, while newcomer Nikki Byrd was just named the SEC Freshman of the Week.
Ole Miss travels to NC State Sunday afternoon in its next game before returning home on the Dec. 17 to host UALR at 7 p.m.
