Rebels Host Georgia For Mid-Week Twin Bill

Ole Miss (15-15, 0-9 SEC) enters the week after knocking off Central Arkansas and dropping a three-game set to Mississippi State last week. Wednesday is “Workers Wednesday” at the ballpark. You can present your business card for $1 admission to the game and use your business card to enter to win great prizes throughout the game.
The Rebels are led by sophomore third baseman Lauren Grill, who has a .337 batting average, 17 runs scored, 31 hits, nine doubles, four home runs and 22 RBI. Catcher Amber Tramp leads the Rebels with a .296 batting average in conference games. She has collected eight hits in 27 at-bats so far in SEC play.
Freshman Lindsey Perry has a team-low 1.18 ERA and Becky Nye leads the team with six wins and 70 strike outs on the season.
Georgia (30-8, 3-3 SEC) enters the midweek twin bill coming off of its fifth tournament win of the season, going a perfect 4-0 to win the Georgia Softball Spring Fling. The Bulldogs posted two wins over both the Albany Great Danes and the Kent State Golden Flashes in the tournament.
