OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt announced here Thursday that defensive lineman Chris Strong of Batesville, Miss., has withdrawn from the University of Mississippi. "We do not expect Chris to be with us this fall, but wish him well in whatever his future holds," Nutt said. Strong saw action in nine games last season as a true freshman, starting three games at the "Mike" linebacker position. He finished the year with 19 total tackles, including 10 solo stops, and earned his first collegiate letter.
