Ghinaudo Named To SEC Community Service Team

OXFORD, Miss. Ole Miss sophomore outfielder Courtnie Ghinaudo was named to the SEC Softball Community Service Team for her work off the field, the league office announced on Monday.

Ghinaudo has been heavily involved in the Oxford and Ole Miss communities for the past two years. She has served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and participated in Reading with the Rebels and National Student-Athlete Day activities with Oxford elementary students.

The Lake Jackson, Texas native also volunteered at the North Mississippi Regional Hospital and with Habitat for Humanity. She also participated in the SEC Canned Food Drive to gather food for needy families.

In the classroom, Ghinaudo is a CoSIDA Academic All-District nominee and was named to the UMAA Honor Roll.

The Southeastern Conference sponsors community service teams for all 20 league sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to her community in superior service efforts.
