Nine Rebels Earn Preseason Football Honors

Three Rebels were distinguished as All-Americans with senior offensive tackle Michael Oher on the second team, junior defensive end Greg Hardy on the third team and senior defensive tackle Peria Jerry on the fourth team.
Both Oher and Hardy also made Steeles’ All-SEC first team, while Jerry was named to the second team, along with brother and junior offensive guard John Jerry and incoming freshman running back Enrique Davis.
In addition, Ole Miss senior wide receiver Mike Wallace and linebacker Ashlee Palmer earned all-league third team status, while Tony Fein and Marshay Green were listed on the fourth team at linebacker and punt returner, respectively. Click here for Steele's complete All-SEC teams.
