Lady Rebel Basketball Camps A Success

7/9/2008 | Women's Basketball

OXFORD, Miss. With teams and campers competing from all over the country, the Ole Miss women’s basketball team recently completed its annual summer camps with a flourish.

Teams from California, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas and Ohio flocked to Oxford to take part in the Lady Rebel summer camps directed by Ole Miss head coach Renee Ladner.

The first overnight camp was one of the most successful camps of the month as 19 teams participated in the event.  Campers learned the importance of competition, bonding and teamwork as expressed by Ole Miss players and coaches.

The Lady Rebels also featured high intensity and individual camps for those highly motivated players looking to improve in certain aspects of their game.  Both the high intensity and individual camps produced a great number of campers who were introduced to the importance of fundamentals, individual development and team competition.
