Kieckhaefer, Weber Earn All-Tournament Honors

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. Ole Miss seniors Rachel Kieckhaefer and Allison Weber were both named to the All-Tournament Team at the Panther Invitational held this past weekend at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
The duo helped lead the Rebels to a second place finish behind No. 18 Iowa State, who claimed the tournament by virtue of a head to head win over the Rebels as both teams finished 2-1 in the event.
Kieckhaefer finished the tournament with 96 assists, averaging 30 assists per match as she helped the Rebels to wins over host Milwaukee and Illinois State. She also hit .417 with five kills on 12 swings against the Redbirds of Illinois State for her best performance of the weekend.
Weber led the Rebels in digs, posting 35 digs over three matches as she averaged almost 12 digs a match, including 16 digs against Milwaukee in the season opener.
The Rebels will return to action this weekend when Ole Miss travels to the Gamecock Invitational at Jacksonville State. The Rebels will face Jacksonville State, UAB and Creighton at the event, beginning with UAB at 1 p.m. on Friday.
