SERIES INFORMATION
Today’s meeting was the third all-time between Ole Miss and Samford ... The Rebels lead 2-1.
The then Mississippi Flood defeated Howard College 26-6 in 1932, and the Bulldogs prevailed 7-6 in 1934.

GENERAL NOTES
The Rebel football program is now one win short of 600 ... Ole Miss boasts an all-time record of 599-461-35.
Ole Miss is 41-11 versus non-conference opponents dating back to a 38-0 win over Tulane on Nov. 12, 1994 ... The Rebels are 31-6 in their last 37 non-conference games in Oxford.
OFFENSIVE NOTES
Ole Miss’ 103 points in its first three games is the most in a three-game stretch since 2003 ... The Rebel offense is averaging 34.3 points per game this year.
The Rebel offense outgained Samford 424 yards to 198.
Senior WR Mike Wallace registered his third career 100-yard receiving game and first of the year with four catches for 101 yards.
Junior RB Cordera Eason picked up his first career rushing touchdown on a 12-yard TD run in the second quarter ... He has notched TDs in consecutive games, including his first career touchdown on a five-yard catch at Wake Forest ... Eason finished today’s game with career highs and game highs of 13 carries for 68 yards.
Freshman RB Brandon Bolden posted his second TD of the year on a six-yard rush off a direct snap in the Wild Rebel in the second quarter ... He finished with eight rushes for 42 yards.
Sophomore WR Lionel Breaux earned his first career start and recorded his first career reception with three grabs for 40 yards.
Freshman RB Enrique Davis rumbled in from four yards in the opening drive of the second half for the second rushing TD of the year.
Junior QB Billy Tapp connected on his first career pass attempt in the fourth quarter and finished 1-for-1 for six yards. DEFENSIVE NOTES The Rebel defense posted 12 tackles for loss and boasts 20 TFLs in the last two games. Junior CB Cassius Vaughn got his first career sack on a corner blitz on the final play of the third quarter ... It was the only sack of the game for either team ... Vaughn led the team with seven total tackles, including five solos. Senior DT Peria Jerry earned his first start of the year and ranked second on the team with six stops, including two TFLs. SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES Junior Marshay Green returned a punt 77 yards for a TD in the fourth quarter ... It was the second of his career and the first by a Rebel since Green's 44-yarder for a score in last year's LSU game. Junior K Joshua Shene connected on both his field goal attempts in the game, connecting from 33 and 38 yards ... He is 4-for-4 in FGs this season and has made seven of his last eight going back to the Auburn game last year.
