OXFORD, Miss. The Ole Miss men's golf team is in Birmingham, Ala., for the fourth annual Shoal Creek Invitational. The event starts with two rounds on Monday, followed by the third and final round on Tuesday.

The field features five teams ranked among the nation's top 30 in Golfweek's preseason rankings, including tournament host No. 24 UAB.

This year, eight teams return from last year's event, and four new teams will make up the 12-team field. Along with the Blazers, returning teams from a year ago include: Auburn, Georgia Southern, LSU, Ole Miss, North Florida, Oklahoma and Texas Tech The four new teams making their first appearance at the event are: Baylor, East Tennessee State (No. 14), Tulsa and Wake Forest (No. 15).

Senior Stefan Strandlund, who earned his first ever top 20 finish in the Rebels' opening tournament (Carpet Capital), leads the five-man lineup. He will be joined by All-SEC senior Jesse Speirs and freshman Joe David from the first tournament.

Sophomore Jonathan Randolph, who made the All-SEC Freshman Team in his first year, returns to the lineup after missing the Carpet Capital. He suffered from a chest/rib cage muscle injury during the summer. Rounding out the lineup is junior Will Roebuck, who redshirted in 2007.
