1968 Freshman Football Team Reunion

During the weekend of the Samford football game, Ole Miss welcomed back to campus members of the 1968 Freshman Football Team.

Ole Miss Director of Athletics Pete Boone was a member of that class and hosted the former Rebels in a reception at his home that Friday evening. The team was also honored during Saturday's pregame ceremonies along with their Head Freshman Coach, Eddie Crawford.

When the class moved up to the varsity in 1969, they were coached by John Vaught and later Billy Kinard. They participated in a bowl all three years and helped extend what was then a bowl record 15 straight appearances in postseason action.
