The Rebel football program earned its 600th win ... Ole Miss boasts an all-time record of 600-462-35.
Ole Miss earned its first victory over a top-five foe since a 20-13 triumph over No. 3 Notre Dame in 1977 in Jackson ... The Rebels are 11-23 all-time vs. teams ranked in the top five.
The Rebels' last road win over a top-five team was a 15-7 triumph over LSU on Nov. 3, 1962 ... Ole Miss was ranked No. 6 and LSU was ranked No. 4.
Ole Miss' last win over a ranked foe was a 31-28 road win at No. 25 South Carolina in 2004 ... The Rebels snapped a 15-game skid to ranked teams ... Ole Miss is 54-127-2 all-time versus ranked teams.
OFFENSIVE NOTES
Sophomore QB Jevan Snead's 86-yard TD to Shay Hodge was the longest pass play in Ole Miss history ... Snead finished 9-of-20 for 185 yards, two TD and one interception ... He also picked up his first career rushing TD.
Junior WR Shay Hodge notched his first career 100-yard receiving game with a career-high 133 yards on three catches ... He also hauled in his SEC-leading fourth TD pass of the year.
Junior RB Cordera Eason hauled in his second career TD pass on an 18-yard screen pass ... Eason has scored a touchdown in three of the last four games.
Junior Dexter McCluster led the team in rushing for the first time this year with 11 carries for 60 yards and his second rushing TD of the year.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
Ole Miss forced Florida into its first three turnovers of the year.
Sophomore DT Ted Laurent notched his first career sack ... Laurent was credited with a career-highs six total tackles and two TFLs along with a fumble recovery ... He leads the team with 6.5 TFLs this year.
Junior DE Greg Hardy posted three TFLs and 1.5 sacks ... Hardy has 2.5 sacks in his two games back.
Senior S Jamarca Sanford led the team with 11 tackles ... It marks his ninth career game with double-figure tackles.
Senior LB Tony Fein had 10 stops, giving him double-digit tackles for the first time this year and fourth time in his career.
Junior S Kendrick Lewis equaled his career high with nine total tackles along with a fumble recovery.
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
Sophomore DE Kentrell Lockett blocked Florida's PAT in the fourth quarter ... It marked the Rebels' first extra point block since John Jerry's block in the 2006 LSU game in Baton Rouge.
After a school-record 202 kickoff return yards last week, senior Mike Wallace posts the seventh-best total ever by a Rebel with five returns for 140 yards.
Junior K Joshua Shene was perfect on the day, converting all four PATs and connecting on a 33-yarder.
