Men's Golf Heads To Tampa For Gary Koch

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss men's golf team heads to Tampa, Fla., this weekend for the Gary Koch Intercollegiate co-hosted by Auburn and Kentucky at the Old Memorial Golf Club.
The 15-team field includes eighth-ranked Florida, ninth-ranked Florida State, 10th-ranked Auburn, 13th-ranked North Carolina, 15th-ranked North Florida, 17th-ranked Texas Tech and 25th-ranked Virginia.
Saturday will include 36 holes followed by the final 18 on Sunday.
The Rebels are coming off a seventh-place finish at the Mason Rudolph last weekend. After tying for the third lowest round in school history with a first-round 275, the team shot 291 in the final round. The tournament was shortened to two rounds due to rain.
Junior Jonathan Randolph captured medalist honors with an 11-under 131, which included a career best 64 in the first round. It marked his first career title at Ole Miss and the first for the Rebels since 2006. The Brandon native owns two top five finishes in the first two tournaments.
The rest of the lineup includes two sophomores and two freshmen. Sophomore Billy Brozovich earned his first career top 20 finish last weekend, tying for 16th at the Mason Rudolph, with a career best 68 in the first round.
Fellow sophomore Joe David and freshmen Tom Brown and Chad Bounds complete this weekend's lineup.
